Flat Rate Legal Services
I know how helpful transparent legal pricing can be. When possible, there are a few contractual items I’ll do on a flat rate basis, at a discount to my hourly rate. Examples of such items include:
Formation and registration of LLC or corporation (or other small business entity), which includes: 1) recommendation and explanation on corporate structure and where to file, given business location and objectives, 2) filing and drafting relevant organizational documents (e.g. articles of organization/ certificate of formation, operation agreement or by-laws) , 3) initial corporate resolutions and 4) selecting a registered agent, filing statement of information (if applicable), and obtaining an employer identification number.
